Ministries at St. Philip

Each of the worship services at St. Philip Lutheran Church ends with a dismissal which challenges us to live lives of service. The congregation responds “Thanks be to God.”

We take these words to heart as we send people into the world to serve. Jesus calls us to a faith that is active in love. The opportunities to live out our faith are as varied as the lives of our people.

If you want to get involved, but don’t know where you would fit best then fill out a spiritual gifts assessment. This assessment will help you to discover your spiritual gifts, the gifts God has given you, and lead you to something you really enjoy.

Background Check for Working with Children and Youth

St. Philip requires that all of our volunteers working with children have a background check done. You can start the process of filling out the background check online by clicking the “I want to volunteer!” button below. If you have any questions please contact Linda Goodnough at lgoodnough@stphilip-co.org
