Ken-Caryl Concert Series Celebrates 10 Years of Music
and Community Impact
The Ken-Caryl Concerts at St. Philip Lutheran Church will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2026, marking a decade of live music, community connection and charitable giving.
Founded by church member Kristen Celusniak, the concert series launched with its first performance in May 2016, and has since presented 31 concerts featuring a wide range of musicians and styles. Over the years, the series has grown into a cherished local tradition while making a meaningful impact beyond the stage.
Fundraising efforts through the concert series have helped purchase a new grand piano for the church sanctuary and raised more than $8,000 for local charities. The concerts have also helped raise awareness for numerous nonprofit organizations, as well as national and international causes.
Music education is another cornerstone of the program. Through the Piano Award Scholarship, two used pianos have been donated to local music students, supporting young musicians as they continue their studies.
Three concerts are planned for 2026 as part of the 10th anniversary celebration. All concerts are free, family-friendly and presented by St. Philip Lutheran Church.

************************************
Ken Caryl Concerts was established in 2016 as an outreach mission of St. Philip Lutheran Church. The series offers 3-4 concerts per year featuring a wide variety of musical talents from our church family and the surrounding community, including sacred and secular music of all genres. It is our hope to entertain, educate, inspire, and extend a warm welcome to the surrounding community with these events. All concerts are free of charge, though free-will donations are accepted to support the series and local charities.
