Children’s Ministry Resource Page

While St. Philip is not gathering together in person, we hope we can continue to be connected with one another, learn together, support one another and encourage one another. One way we can do this is by sharing resources. Check out the blogs below for ideas and add your own insights!

More Resources available from Group Ministry

Group Ministry has created a Bible lesson that you can watch on YouTube or the script of the Bible lesson can be downloaded for parents to do at home. Soon they will have videos of someone teaching the lesson. The lesson on the right (or below on a smartphone) can be downloaded and used at home! There is a YouTube video of the song for you to play as well! All you need for this lesson is scotch tape!

Activity Pages for Older Kids

Children’s Worship Bulletins has put together a packet of free resources – puzzles and Bible activities on carefully selected topics and Scripture texts – that we have been given permission to share with you all. The bulletins are activity pages, just meant to be folded. I pray these will strengthen you and your family during this time!

Game Recommendations

What games have your kids been playing that you think others would enjoy?

Activity Recommendations

What activities have your kids been doing that you recommend. These could be crafts, puzzles, acting, you name it!

Screen Time Recommendations

What movies, shows, YouTube videos do you recommend? What tablet games are great for kids? These can be education based or just for fun.

When we are able to gather again, we will continue with our regular ministry programs. They may change based on how long we are apart, so stay tuned for updates.

Sunday Story Explorers

Beginning at 10:30am join us for Sunday Story Explorers!

All ages are welcome to participate in this inquiry-based education program.

As an alternative, 4th-6th graders have the opportunity to take a Bible course.

Adults may join in conversation and coffee.

Wednesday Faith Quest

New this year, we are experimenting with doing a Faith Quest for children Pre-K through
6th grade! It will be fun, insightful, and fulfilling!

Wednesday Faith Quest will be on the 1st Wednesday of the month.

At 6:00pm we will join the confirmation students and the Sr. high youth group for dinner.
At 6:30pm we will then split into age-appropriate groups to learn about faith, God, and the Bible. At 7:15pm we will then come back together for closing worship where we will sing fun camp and kids songs until 7:30pm.

We hope you will join us for one or all of the Wednesday Faith Quests!
